Bio
a.k.a. “Dave the Rave”
Frequently tired veteran centre half with a penchant for giving away throws, claims to be faster at sidestepping than running. 0 goals in his first 69 games belies his innate finishing ability which was demonstrated when he became the first Shark in history to successfully convert a shoot-out penalty with poise and skill that is still talked about to this day. Said he would retire the second he scored his first goal; has presumably (and sadly) given up waiting for that to happen.
Former Southend academy graduate once achieved the historic feat of being asked to perform at the Essex County Show, presumably doing so with great aplomb. To our knowledge, the only Shark to have been afforded such an accolade.
